Eason: Company background
Eason is an iconic Irish retail business with a history and heritage dating back over 135 years.
Today, the company employs over 600 people and operates over 60 stores across the island of Ireland, continuing to evolve its business model to drive sustainable business performance and deliver on changing consumer needs.
Eason expanded its reach by acquiring Dubray, in February 2020, bringing together two well-loved brands to create a strong, more diverse retail offering. Though they share the same parent company, each brand continues to operate with its unique focus, values, and customer base. Together, they now offer a wider variety of books, gifts, and stationery, with a stronger presence across Ireland’s retail landscape.
