The programme aims to provide learners with the skill, knowledge and competence to obtain entry-level employment in the horticulture industry or progress to further education and training.
Learning Outcomes

2. Demonstrate an understanding of the needs of a broad range of plant types and horticultural contexts.

3. Demonstrate a specified range of knowledge, skills and competence, which is determined by their elective module choices, as required for their chosen career path.

4. Apply judgement in growing and maintaining a broad range of plant types.

5. Display an ability to interact positively and effectively, with a considerable degree of responsibility and autonomy, in both individual and team contexts, in the managed learning environment and the learner’s individual work experience situation.
